Transnational Giving Europe (TGE)
Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) is a private network of 14 countries which enables donors (both corporations and individuals) resident in one of the participating countries to support charitable organisations in other member countries, while benefiting directly from the tax advantages in their country of residence.
Currently the UK, Belgium, Ireland, Hungary, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Romania and Poland participate in the scheme and both the donor and beneficiary need to be based within this group of countries. The network is, at European level, the only existing practical solution that enables donors supporting beneficiaries in other member countries to benefit from tax advantages in their country of residence.
To participate in the scheme, donors can give their gifts to the TGE foundation in their home country (see a list of TGE foundations for participating countries below) which then provides the donor with a tax receipt and transfers the gift to the beneficiary organisation.
Please note that it can take up to three months for the donation to reach us from when you make it.
