Legacy gifts exceed £2m

05 May 2017

The receipt of three legacy gifts in the last few months, totalling over £100,000, has taken the amount of funds raised from donors who have chosen to remember the School in their Will to over £2m since 2009.

Legacy gifts are about making a lasting difference and these generous donations are held in the Assisted Places Endowment Fund, the income from which is used to fund Assisted Places in perpetuity. This type of funding is vital if we are to secure the long-term future of this provision and ensure that a King Edward's education is open to all bright boys, regardless of financial circumstances.

We are incredibly grateful to all donors who have chosen to make this lasting contribution to the School. Their generosity will ensure a bright future for generations of boys to come.
