Jim Grant (1973) - a.k.a Lee Child
After KES I was at Sheffield University, and then worked for Granada Television in Manchester, before becoming a novelist under the name Lee Child.
Why I am supporting the AP100 Campaign
In terms of helping the school now, it's easy to look backward and seek to give current applicants the same financial help we got automatically, but I feel we should look forward - Birmingham has an amazing pool of talent at the moment, from all quarters, and the school is better staffed and equipped than ever, so we should try to put the two halves together, for spectacular future results. In other words, we should be the new Four Citizens - or four hundred, or four thousand.
You can read more about Jim's support for the Campaign in an article he wrote for the 2012-13 Donor Report.
